PERFECT GAME 15U BCS
Ober throws no-hitter as SBA Canes 15U Black defeats the Sandy Plains Wildcats 8-0
Wednesday was a day Bailey Ober will set aside for the scrapbook as Ober
threw a no-hitter in SBA Canes 15U Black's 8-0 victory over the Sandy
Plains Wildcats.
No Sandy Plains Wildcats batter was able to locate Ober's pitches during
the game. Ober threw a no-hitter, striking out eight batters and
walking one while recording his momentous feat. He got Ryan Schmitz to
strike out for the final out of the game.
Everything was working at the plate for the SBA Canes 15U Black in the
second. SBA Canes 15U Black's bats caught fire leading to five runs.
Jerrick Robbins had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. Robbins doubled in the second and third innings.
Daniel Calabretta, Nick Owens, Robbins and Jeremy Vasquez helped lead
SBA Canes 15U Black. They combined for eight hits and five RBIs.
Ober threw five innings of scoreless ball for SBA Canes 15U Black.

Welcome to the Official Home of The SHOWCASE BASEBALL ACADEMY (SBA) CANES. The CANES organization consists of many elite teams including players residing in and around North and South Carolina. The SBA CANES (f.k.a. Charlotte Hurricanes)was established in 2002. In the past few years, the SBA CANES have become a highly successful and nationally recognized elite baseball organization. We take pride in our relationships with our players High School Coaches as we focus our attention on showcasing our talents AS A TEAM NOT AS AN INDIVIDUAL.
The CANES teams have won numerous state and national championships. We play predominantly in the most competitive tournaments against the best competition. It is our philosophy that to be the best you have to play the best.
The SBA CANES will SHOWCASE its 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 teams nationally. The SBA CANES 13u team has qualified for the 2011 USSSA ELITE 32 and will compete in the most competitive tournaments around the country. 9u-12u teams will compete at the highest level of tournament play regionally.

S.B.A. Invitational:
|
The SBA CANES and Showcase Baseball Academy will HOST their first tournament in the 'Canes 7 year history. USSSA will sanction the "Showcase Baseball Academy National Invitational" in Columbia, SC July 8th, 2011. This tournament is projected to be one of the premier tournaments of the year. Entries have already been submitted from some of the top teams throughout the southeast.
