The Hurricane Organization is made up of a group of diverse boys who come together to complete one of the top Travel Baseball Organizations in the country.  This page is dedicated to them and the achievements these players make on and off the field.   We as an organization are proud of all that these boys accomplish and wish to share those accomplishments with all those interested:

 

 
Hunter Colonna
Hunter Colonna (12U) Tried out as a 6th grader for the Marvin Ridge Middle School Baseball Team.  After an intense 4 day try out, Hunter earned a spot on the squad.
 
Brendan DeLay
Brendan DeLay (12U)Tried out as a 6th Grader for the Weddington Middle School Baseball Team.  After an intense workout, Brendan earned a spot on the JV Squad.
 
Zach Farmer
Zach Farmer (11U Orange) Tried out as a 6th Grader for the Parkwood Middle School Baseball Team.  after an intense tryout, Zach earned a spot on the Club.

Zach Farmer was 1 point away from the A Honor Roll!
 
Wes Foskey
Wes Foskey (13U) was named to the South Central North Carolina All District Band as the #6 chair for trumpets.  Wes was selected from a group of over 100 trumpet players that auditioned for this band.  The All District Band concert was held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Mooresville High School.

Wes Foskey was named to the 1st semester magna cum laude honor roll at Charlotte Christian School where he earned at 4.0 GPA (all A's).  Based on this academic achievement, Wes has been invited to apply for the National Junior Honor Society.

Wes Foskey (13U) Tried out for the Charlotte Christian Middle School Baseball Team.  After an intense try out, Wes earned a spot on the Squad.
 
Will Fussy
Will Fussy (12U) tried out as a 7th Grader for the Weddington Middle School Baseball Team.  After an intense tryout, Will earned a spot on the JV Squad.
 
Nigel Hester
Nigel Hester (13U)tried out and for the second straight year earned a spot on the Porter Ridge Middle School Baseball Squad.
 
Josh Hoglund
Josh Hoglund (11U Orange) tried out as a 6th grader for the Weddington Middle School Baseball Team.  After a short but intense tryout, Josh earned a spot on the JV Squad.  He is one of 4 6th Graders to make the team!
 
Jake Holtzapple
Jake Holtzapple (11U Orange) was accepted into the National Elementary Honor Society.  As a fifth grader at Elizabeth Lane Elementary he has worked hard to receive straight A's during the last 3 quarters.
 
Landon Kay
Landon Kay (13U) Tried out for the Charlotte Christian Middle School Baseball Team.  After an intense try out, Landon earned a spot on the squad.

Landon Kay (13U) Was Magna Cum Laude last semester at school and he also has been asked to join the National Junior Honor Society. 
 
Austin Lingle
Austin Lingle (12U) Tried out as a 7th Grader for the Sun Valley Middle School Baseball team.  After an intense 4 day tryout for over 70 kids, Austin earned a spot on the Varsity Squad.
 
McCann Mellett
McCann Mellett (11U Orange), a 5th Grader at St Matthew Catholic School, has been invited to participate in the 5th Grade Talent Identification Program (TIP) through Duke University. This is a result of his scoring in the 95th percentile in Language, Math, Reading, and his Composite score on the IOWA test.
 
Chandler Musselwhite
Chandler Musselwhite (13U) Tried out and earned a spot on the Union Academy Middle School Baseball Team. 

Chandler Musselwhite (13U) Was named Most Valuable Player for the Union Academy Middle School Baseball Team. 
 
Nick Owens
Nick Owens (13U) Tried out for the Charlotte Christian Middle School Baseball Team.  After an intense try out, Nick earned a spot on the team.
 
Tyler Potts
Tyler Potts (11U Orange)Tried out as a 6th grader for the Sun Valley Middle School Baseball Team.  After an intense 4 day tryout for over 70 kids Tyler made the JV Squad.
 
Logan Sherer
Logan Sherer (13U) Tried out for the Piedmont Open IB Middle School Baseball Team.  He will lead the team as a Team Captain.

Logan Sherer (13U) Has completed 25 hours of community service this year to date. Logan helped deliver food to families at Thanksgiving, worked with several teachers on information visuals in their classrooms, and assisted the counselor with younger children at summer camp.

Logan Sherer (13U) Was the Co-MVP of his Middle School Team who finished 2nd in their division.

Logan Sherer (13U) Earned The President's Education Award for outstanding academic excellence at Piedmont Open IB Middle School.
 
Max Wotell
Max Wotell (12U) Tried as a 6th grader for the Marvin Ridge Middle School Baseball Team.  After an intense workout Max earned a spot on the Squad.
